Quality Assurance Test Lead
Greenfield, MA

For the QA Test Lead position, we are looking for a pro-active, detail-oriented candidate with good interpersonal skills.  The chosen candidate will be expected to spearhead testing by generating test documentation, execute test cases, provide written and verbal feedback to the team, and work closely with our producers on managing an external compatibility team. Candidates should have critical thinking skills, a sharp focus on detail and polish, work well in a team environment,  and have a passion for improving our game and helping us launch a fun and successful product.

Responsibilities

  • Develop test plans with a strategic selection of test methodologies, including but not limited to data validation, regression testing, integration testing, performance/load testing, and stability across all environments.
  • Test execution
  • Partner with other developers in the creation of requirements so that they can be eectively tested
  • Work with project management and test related tools (i.e. JIRA)
  • Research, recommend, and adopt tools as needed with the goal of increasing test coverage through automation
  • Use appropriate measures and KPIs to validate and report on software quality
  • Be a creative thinker who can quickly and thoroughly identify and test for ‘edge cases’ outside of expected functionality
  • Help others develop appropriate knowledge and skills through training and constructive feedback
  • Be an advocate of the user experience through delivery of qualitative reporting

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (or 3 years of equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience in software testing 
  • Familiarity with an agile development process.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, development tools and build processes
  • Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and action on data sets and complex workflows
  • Experience with Unity content and asset editors.
  • Experience managing teams
  • Passion for games and software quality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Local to Western Massachusetts (Pioneer Valley) region
  • High-level of game design & development knowledge
  • Passion for simulation games
  • Knowledge of eSports and / or online competitive multiplayer games. 
  • Mobile & PC software development
  • Experience with QA in a live beta environment
  • Computer Science background and/or experience

Senior Tech Artist
Greenfield, MA

HitPoint is looking for a Senior Tech Artist proficient in Unity development for a long term, full-time, remote contract role to support the ongoing development of an unannounced mobile/PC game title.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Art Director, art team, engineering team and other discipline stakeholders to identify and develop tools, processes and standards for efficient, high production value art content
  • Standard setting and management of art related game tech & tools for both game system and art development pipeline support 
    • Unity packages/tools r&d, recommendation and integration
    • custom tools & systems scripting/coding
    • shaders, materials, lighting, post processing
    • rigging and skinning
  • Standard setting, documentation and management of asset organization, naming and performance requirements 
  • Art integration support 
  • General development support work (to inspire the creation of tools that speed up and optimize processes!) 
  • Help others develop appropriate knowledge and skills through training and constructive feedback

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (or 3 years of equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a tech artist working with Unity
  • Scripting knowledge (Python, JavaScript, MAX Script, MEL)
  • Examples of tools and systems demonstrating excellent tech art skills and sensibilities

FX Artist
Greenfield, MA

HitPoint is looking for an FX Artist proficient in Unity development for a full-time, remote contract role to support the ongoing development of an unannounced mobile/PC game title.

Responsibilities

Senior Backend Server Engineer
Greenfield, MA

LuckyPoint is hiring a full time software engineer for a key role in architecting, implementing and maintaining our online real money gambling games. We're a small team focused on disrupting the European gambling industry with new and innovative games.  Check out one of our action casino games: Spoils of War!

Responsibilities

  • Write production ready Go and Java code for our REST  servers
  • Design and use PostgreSQL and Elastisearch databases.
  • Work closely with client engineers and designers to implement necessary endpoints.
  • Manage tasks and communicate with producers and teammates.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in C++, Java or Go
