HART – Our Cross-Platform AR Middleware

HitPoint has developed a useful and efficient multi-platform tool called HART – HitPoint AR Technology. HART provides access to native AR features in the leading AR platforms, using a unified C# interface. As a result, HitPoint’s engineers can easily exploit the best features of each of the various AR technologies, while implementing the code once cross-platform.

Some of our recent AR projects

  • Partnered with Ellen DeGeneres to create an app based on her Game of Games game show, with an AR "Play Along Live" mode tied to the live broadcast.
  • Developed a promotional mobile app for Spin Master, in which children can collect and learn about the new Awesome Bloss'ems while planting a beautifully extravagant virtual garden at home.
  • Created five AR sports games with Caesars Entertainment for the bar at The LINQ Hotel in Las Vegas. The multiplayer AR games use a bar coaster to launch football, basketball, baseball, hockey, and beer pong games. Play against bar mates and friends, with the game results being integrated into the Caesars Palace mobile app.
  • Partnered with Walgreens and Google to develop numerous retail use cases. Using detailed store scans, HitPoint determined the most efficient path through the store using AR, while displaying relevant virtual coupons along the way.
  • Designed an ARKit, ARCore, Tango, and Lenovo Mirage app to explore the fun factor in “walk around” AR games. Crayola Color Blaster integrates physical space and virtual characters into hilarious paint-splatting gameplay.
  • Added many surprising AR character interactions and new content to the popular Disney Magic Timer tooth-brushing app.
  • Partnered with Explore Interactive to create an educational circuit building app with physical cards and intuitive AR controls. Includes a combination of directed and sandbox play.
  • Designed an AR treasure hunt experience with the MGM Casino to engage and retain casino customers.
  • Prototyped a connected AR smart toy called Keepers: Fairies of the Hidden World. Magical fairies surprise and delight as they emerge from flowers that are planted.
